House of Burnouts

"House of Burnouts" was shot in Eau Claire, WI in 2024 at various locations in the Chippewa Valley. No need to worry, no buildings or guitars were harmed during the the video shoot.

This project also showcases Derek's prop building for FX. For this video shoot, Derek built a shiplap wall that was used throughout the video. The wall was set on fire for the final sequence.

Duplicates

The "Duplicates" music video was recorded entirely at locations on Water Street in Eau Claire, WI. We were granted permission by three incredible bars and an art gallery to record inside their establishments. While lighting conditions were less than optimal given that we had to go with available light only, we believe the project turned out exactly as we could have hoped for.

Wanted More - Live at Risler's

"Wanted More" was recorded live on location at Risler's Laundromat in Eau Claire, WI. This location is of great historical value to Emm K as she spent so many nights in this laundromat, writing music and playing guitar. No sound treatment or special effects were added to simulate the sounds of washing machines or dryers.

As a heads up, there is profanity in this video.

Fun fact, the final photo was featured in Volume One in an article about the "Duplicates" music video release.

Behind the Scenes:
Duplicates Cover Art Photoshoot

The lighting alone in these videos told a story and invoked emotion into audiences. Combined with Sherlock Holmes vision, he sees the big picture and can spot unique moments while filming.

In a world that is consuming more visual content, it’s important to stay authentic and engaging. Derek has an eye for it.
